First time at the Zoo

So Landen got to go to the zoo for his first time and he loved it! He loves animal so I knew he would enjoy the zoo. The Eureka zoo has definatly got nicer since I have been there last. The added a really nice building and fixed it up a little.

Lyndsey got some really good pictures on her camera, so I will post them when she gets them to me, I just have a couple.

I can see the Sun!!

Yeah, the sun is back. Landen is in a better mood now, back to his old self. Probably because the rain has gone away and the sun it out. Hopefully it will last for a while! Hope everyone has a great weekend. Nicks first stock car race is Saturday night! Hope he does well:):)

First Temper Tantrum

So Landen has been very challenging this week (since Sunday) . I don't know what is going on with him, but hopefully it is a "stage". From the time he wakes up in the morning to the time he goes to bed, all he does is whines. Today I experienced his first fit...it definatly was a big one and I had never seem him do such a thing. So what happened was... today I was getting out of the shower and trying to put my clothes on and dry my hair (that's all I was asking...no makeup or no styling of the hair:)) and he was holding onto my legs and screaming so I told Landen that he has a million toys and he needs to go in his room and play with them. He wouldn't so I put him in his room and out the gate up and set out a ton of toys...oh no...then it began. He started screaming and didn't stop for about 55 mins. When I was done, I got him out of his room and comforted him and tried to play with him with his toys. And he wouldn't stop. He actually was throwing himself on the ground and spinning is circles! I couldn't believe it. I thought "My" child would never act like this. You know how you see other children throwing fits and you say "Oh my gosh, my child will never do such a thing" Well, it happened. Finally my perfect child threw a fit. It was intense, But when his dad got home he finally stopped! Thank goodness for daddy!!!!!!!!!!

After that, we got to go to grandma and Pa's house and they got him a new car! He was back to his old self again!

First Day on the Job

Landen went to work with his Daddy for the first time! He loved it. We put his car seat in the dump truck and away they went. He stayed with him from 12-3pm and Nick said he just looked around and clapped and laughed. He is completely obsessed with equipment. But no wonder:) Now Nick is in trouble because I know Landen likes going away with him...he will have to do that more often so I can get some work done!

I finally joined...

So I decided to join the blogging world!!! I have been addicted to reading everyone else's blogs and decided I shouldn't be so selfish and contribute (as Janelle said). I actually enjoy the blogs more than MySpace and my husband doesn't like MySpace, so we agreed that I should become addicted to this instead:)

Nick and I got married on September 8, 2007! It was a dream come true! It was exactly how I imagined my wedding to be. The funny thing was that our son was there at our wedding:)lol He was 8 months when we got married. We had been engaged for two years before we got married. We had originally planned on getting married in Sep 2006, but it really bothered me that I was going to be quite aways along when we got married, So we held it off a year. I was glad that we did.

About our son....Landen Christopher is my angel. He is was born on January 29, 2007 but he wasn't due until March 1st. All of a sudden I woke up on Jan. 28th and didn't understand why water was pouring down my legs! I wasn't even at all prepared to have him yet. We hadn't had the baby shower yet, we didn't have a name, and his room wasn't ready for him...but he was sure ready to come into the world. He was fine, but we had to stay in the hospital for a week for just some small things that went on, but nothing life threatning, that gooddness! He is now a very heathly 14 month old who is in the 75 percentile on the growth charts, walks all over the place, has a full mouth of teeth, and is starting to talk. He is just so much fun and I am so blessed to have him in my life. He makes the world a better place.
