All Recovered

I think Landen and I will make it through! We have both been sick for so long and now Nick has it but we are all recovering. This cold/flu that is going around is horrible!!! It lingers and it's a hard one to fight. So it started off by Landen and I just having regular colds then all of a sudden Landen got really bad. He acted like he was having to work so hard to get a breath. So I made an appointment for the next morning at the doctors and of course when we were there he wasn't near as bad as he was the night before, but she gave him antibiotics because he had a double ear infection and she said we can get him an inhaler, but it would be hard to give a little boy one and have them use it properly so she gave me it in liquid form. That wasn't really working because it goes into his whole body and not really his lungs so I took him back in the next day and his oxygen level feel to a 94 so the doctor tried to give him a breathing treatment in the office but he was NOT going for it! So she said I can either take him to the ER or I knew that Janelle has to give Connor breathing treatments and has Tasha's machine so I thought I would try that at the comfort of home. We went home and he did GREAT. He would hold the mask to his face but then want to stop so I would just hold it next to his face while he did finger paints with the help of Auntie and Maama. I don't know how moms take care of sick babies when they are sick too without the help of family. I couldn't have mentally got through it without my mom and Lyndsey! They are GREAT. So we spent about a week in the house. Talk about needing to get out! And we had to stay in Landens room most of the time because I had two humidifiers going andhe couldn't breath the moment he left his room! So we played in there for a week straight and our rooms in our house are not roomy:)!
We are all getting better. Landen is better and now I just have a lingering cough and my ears are plugged and Nick is getting better!!!
Here are some picutres of right before his was sick in his Daddy's dump truck and at the mall on the mall toys.

Here are some pics of him watching the movie Cars that we watched probably 20 times that week..

Supercross

So I finally got to go to a supercross race after not going to any for about 3 years! We went to San Francisco for the race and had a great time. The weather was perfect for being January. No wind or rain, it just got cold when the sun went down. Landen stayed home with my mom and sister while Nick and I am my Nonnie and Papa went down. My family has been family friends with The Villopoto's for a long time. My mom dated Danny Villopoto which is Ryan's dad and all the siblings were friends with my mom and uncle. They were such good friends that they would spend holidays together. So we hung out with the family for most of the afternoon in their motor home in the pits. They were very welcoming! My grandparents and Fred and Fran (ryan's grandparents) were so excited to see each other. They now just see each other once a year or so at races and they talk about once a week. So we enjoyed their company and I hadn't seen any of them since I was about 10. I remember Ryan racing here at Redwood Acres for my dad's memorial race, and then seeing them at races here and there for a few years but that was I think the last time. Ryan did great. He got 3rd place and he is definitely getting better and better each race. Can't wait to see how the season turns out for him!!!!! GOOD LUCK RYAN!!
I didn't get any pictures but like two because I totally forgot!!! When we were leaving the pits I remembered to take a pic of his bike and his motor home, then while they were introducing the top riders I took a video of them introducing Ryan, but that's all, I wish I would have taken more, oh well, next time.
The video is really loud with all the music and my grandma and I screaming:)
