Carrie Underwood

A couple weekends ago Lyndsey, me, Janelle, Danielle, Rachelle, Victoria, and Monica went to Carrie Underwood for my birthday. She was AMAZING. It was one of the most entertaining concerts I have been to. She was also a real life barbie doll. We had a little set back...when we stopped for a bathroom break just past Garberville, I noticed I left my purse with the tickets, my money, my phone and all in Danielle's driveway. I felt like such an idiot. So mother Danielle went to the rescue and called Konocti and got it all set up to where my mom could fax them all the stuff and we were able to go to the box office and they re-printed them no problem. I couldn't believe how smooth it went. We had a great weekend. We stayed at Konocti Vista Casino and it was acutally pretty nice. The rooms were clean, and some of us went to the casino while the others layed by the pool. I think it was almost 100 degrees. It was a great weekend and thanks to everyone who came with me!!!!

Member of the Family

So if you know Landen you know that he has "Pooh Bear". Pooh Bear has become a member of the family. Pooh Bear even showed up in all the family pictures for my moms wedding. Landen plays with Pooh Bear like he is a person. Then when we watch My Friends Tigger and Pooh Landen holds pooh bear up to the tv and shows him the other Pooh bear on TV. So the other day at lunch Landen started to even feed Pooh Bear! He thought he was hallarious! I thought it was pretty cute too!:)

More Summer Fun

So Grandma calls my name from outside while I was in the office and said "Mama come look at Landen" I look outside and I see Grandma pulling Landen in the trailer with the four wheeler. I couldn't believe it. I guess I don't realize how old he is. He is 18 months today and I think I still like to treat him like a baby.

Beach

So we decided to go to the beach one evening and BBQ, but we only lasted about 1/2 hour because it was so cold and windy, but a got some pictures of Landen before he got mad at the sand blowing into his eyes.

Corn on the Cob

So we were having a BBQ and my mom suggested that Landen should get a corn on the cob. I didn't think he was capable of it, but I gave it to him and he LOVED it. he walked around with it all evening and made sure every piece of corn was gone. He even ate it the right way. ;)

Grandma and Pa's work shirt

I just though this was cute. The lady that we order company shirts from likes Landen so much that she ordered him matching shirts for each company. Wes Green Landscaping and Steve's Septic Service. This is Landen trying them on for us:)

Summer

It's been a while since I have last blogged, but my computer is broken at home, so I can only get on for a few minutes at work and look at everyone else's:) We have had a great summer so far this year, with lots more things to come. First we went to the water slide with Janelle and Danielle and all the kids. It was fun, but the weather was very weird. Landen enjoyed them a lot, but I can't wait to go back when it's warmer. Then last weekend was my moms wedding which turned out great. Everything went smoothly and it was very easy. We don't have any pictures yet, but hopefully in a couple weeks from the photographer. My brother in law's sister did take two pictures of her daughter (Mackenzie sp?) and Landen dancing which I thought were so precious because M was very sweet to Landen and said "well, we can dance his way since he doesn't know how to dance our way yet" :) Too cute.

We have a busy summer ahead of us so hopefully I will have some cute pictures to post!
