Christmas

I hope everyone had a great christmas! We sure did. I think Christmas gets better when you have kids:) I enjoyed watching Landen open all his presents and get so excited about each one (even clothes and shoes). We were all blessed this christmas and we all got Great presents!
Here are some pictures:

Landen showing Paige how to ride her new pony:)

This is the quilt Lyndsey made Landen. Her first quilt and it's beautiful!

I know this is blurry, but I thought it was cute because Landen woke up from a nap and I had taken the tree out and he just couldn't get why there was no more tree! He went on and on about it:) This is where the tree was and he just stood there saying "all gone"

Generations

I came across this picture a couple of nights ago and thought it looked like Landen. They don't have the same face features, but this is definitely where Landen gets his build from, they have the same hands, same shape of face...This is my DAD!! He was probably about 18 months old, we think. I just thought that they sure resembled each other at this age:)

Big Dogs and Little Kids:)

I thought this was so funny. My sister and brother in law have a dog that they got from the pound. They brought her home thinking she was going to be about the size of a lab. As you can see she is a little bit bigger than that:) We love her though and she is so good with Landen. He feeds her treats and this is her trying to get the treat:) She actually does it very gentle, this picture just looks so scary:)lol

This is Sandy and Landen...being gentle:)

This is Landen in my mom's dog house panting like a dog!

Not much going on...

I haven't posted in a long time, so I thought I needed to make an update...Not a whole lot has been going on. Last night I decorated my house for Christmas (only the inside hopefully nick will help with the outside this weekend). Landen did a GREAT job helping. We had so much fun and he was bringing in boxes and putting random stuff on the tree that weren't even ornaments. I wish I had a camera for it but I lost mine so I have to wait till christmas:( It was cute, and he was doing such a good job that I didn't notice it was 8:45 and way past his bed time when I had to tell him it was time for bed and he just kept saying "more, more" :( I mostly LOVE decorating for christmas and putting up a tree and having christmas things all around the house, but last night I was just not into it...I think it's because we have way to much "stuff" and our house it too little to be trying to put a big tree in, decorate and have Landen's toys all in the tiny living room.
I have some updated pictures, but I am not going to post them till I send out our christmas cards cause I am using the pictures for our cards and I don't want everyone to see them before they get theirs :) I only have those certain pictures because I LOST my camera!! When you have a child, that is not fun! Before, I wouldn't have been as upset, but it seems like I am reaching for my camera a few times each day making sure I don't miss anything. Landen has a tree in his room that him and his grandma made ornaments for out of construction paper and stickers and I NEED to take a picture of it lol but I will have to wait till christmas day (I'm thinking I am getting one for christmas can't you tell).
Well, I love this time of year because I love getting christmas cards so I look forward to seeing yours, if you are sending on! (Love yours Danielle!!)
Happy Holidays!

Happy Halloween

So we had a great Halloween. The day started off a little shaky and then Landen perked up and had a great time. We first made stops at his great-great grandmas and great grandparents houses and he was cranky about his customer the whole time, but then we went home and BBQ'd and his cousins came over and he had a blast. We walked around our neighborhood for about 6 houses and we stood back and Landen knocked on the doors and when they would give him candy he would keep saying "more, more"...it was funny. I only gave him two pieces, then through it all away and it worked great. Hope everyone had a great time.
These are pictures of Landen and his cousins, Chloe and Paige. They are SO CUTE!

Carving Pumpkins

So Nick and Wes had to work late last night, so my mom and Landen and I carved everyones pumpkins. It was Landens first pumpkin carving experience and he really enjoyed it. It was funny watching him pull the guts out and then he was trying to carve them with the carving tool which was a little scary:) I'm excited to dress him up Friday and walk around. I have be trying to figure out what to do with all the candy he is going to get. My mom gave me the idea of giving him a sucker which will last him a long time and when he's not looking I will throw all the other candy away! I know that's not very nice, but what kid needs all that candy. One piece is good for a 1 1/2 year old and he wont even know I got rid of the rest, he will just be enjoying a sucker. Hope everyone has fun, I will post pictures of him dressed up.
