Late Memorial Day Pictures

I keep on meaning to blog, but my computer at home took a crash, so I have only been able to get on the computer at work...So I have some free time now and I wanted to post some pictures from Memorial Day. We went to Redding and were going to take Landen to the water slides, but it ended up raining the whole weekend so we went to the mall and hung out. The redding mall actually has a playground area for the kids that has a bunch of plastic slides and toys. It was really neat. We camped at the RV Park next to the water slides and they have a playground too, so when it would stop raining landen would run out to play until it started again! Then we went home on Sunday so we had a bbq at Nick's friend Ryan's house. Landen also got to do a couple of First's over memorial Day. He got his first four-wheeler, rode his first horse and pony, and went on his first big slide. He didn't know what to think of the little pony, but liked the big horse! Crazy boy.

Landen is definately a toddler now, no more baby for me:(

Dare Devil

So, Landen is a dare devil, just like his grandpa Lance. That boy will jump off anything, balance on anything...So Nick was watching him while I was gone for a bit and he said he looks over and Landen was standing on his four wheeler with no hands just laughing away. He said it was the funniest thing. I didn't really believe him! I said "well you must have put him on there"...Nick said he didn't!!! So I told Landen to stand of the four wheeler again and there he went! Then started clapping for himself and dancing too!!! Crazy man!!!

Beautiful Day in McKinleyville

Suprisingly enough we had yet another beautiful day! It was hot! I know that Landen loves water so I let him go outside and he instantly started playing in the dogs water bowl. I didn't want him to learn that habbit, so I turned on the hose and he had a ball...He played with that hose forever! I couldn't get him to stop. He would purposly spray himself and laugh! Our dog Buddy loves the hose, so he would point it at buddy and let him drink out of it. Then I filled up the kiddy pool and he loved that too. I held onto him but he wanted me to let go so he could "swim by himself"...sorry Landen you are only one...lol...anyway he played out there until it was about an hour past his nap time and I made him come in even though he didn't want to stop....I can't wait for more beautiful days to come!!!!

Mother's Day

Well, I had a great mother's day (weekend). It was very relaxing. First we left on Friday morning and went to Konocti for a Trace Adkins concert which was awesome. He was very entertaining and sexy!!! (But he needs to cut his hair)...Landen went with us a did amazing at the concert. He walked all around and made friends with everyone. Once he started getting delirious half way through the concert, he started dancing in circles in the middle of the aisle.. It was so cute! I couldn't take pictures because my camera went dead, but I think my sister got some so I will post those when I get them. We camped Friday night then Nick and I got up Sat. morning and went home so he could race and my mom, wes, lyns and Trav kept Landen...He loves camping so much that he didn't want to leave. He got to go fishing with Uncle Travis and swimming with Auntie and Grandma. Then I woke up on Mother's Day without Landen which was sad, but it was a great present just to sleep in and clean up around the house. While we were waiting for Landen, Nick and I watched a movie, then cleaned out the shop and took a bunch of stuff to the dump. Then Landen got home and there he came with a little daisy he picked at the campground and a card and handed it to me!!! I loved it.

New Toys

Since the weather is getting nice we decided Landen is at the age where he needs some outside toys. Mostly we just go to his grandma and Pa's house to play outside, but Landen has been getting very bored with our empty backyard so we built him a sand box and got him a slide. He loves all of it!

First time at the Zoo

So Landen got to go to the zoo for his first time and he loved it! He loves animal so I knew he would enjoy the zoo. The Eureka zoo has definatly got nicer since I have been there last. The added a really nice building and fixed it up a little.

Lyndsey got some really good pictures on her camera, so I will post them when she gets them to me, I just have a couple.

Then we ran into our cousins, so we got to visit Paige!! This is Lyndsey and sweet little Paige
