I'm going to be an AUNT!!!

Lyndsey and Travis just found out they are expecting!!!! I am SO excited to be an aunt! She is only about 4 1/2 weeks a long, it's still early, but she is due in July! Can't wait to meet him / her!

Happy Halloween

So we had a great Halloween. The day started off a little shaky and then Landen perked up and had a great time. We first made stops at his great-great grandmas and great grandparents houses and he was cranky about his customer the whole time, but then we went home and BBQ'd and his cousins came over and he had a blast. We walked around our neighborhood for about 6 houses and we stood back and Landen knocked on the doors and when they would give him candy he would keep saying "more, more"...it was funny. I only gave him two pieces, then through it all away and it worked great. Hope everyone had a great time.

Carving Pumpkins

So Nick and Wes had to work late last night, so my mom and Landen and I carved everyones pumpkins. It was Landens first pumpkin carving experience and he really enjoyed it. It was funny watching him pull the guts out and then he was trying to carve them with the carving tool which was a little scary:) I'm excited to dress him up Friday and walk around. I have be trying to figure out what to do with all the candy he is going to get. My mom gave me the idea of giving him a sucker which will last him a long time and when he's not looking I will throw all the other candy away! I know that's not very nice, but what kid needs all that candy. One piece is good for a 1 1/2 year old and he wont even know I got rid of the rest, he will just be enjoying a sucker. Hope everyone has fun, I will post pictures of him dressed up.

When I got home from work yesterday Landen had something to show me! He stacked some pieces of wood in his trailer all by himself. Grandma said she didn't help:) So here he is showing me what he did:) And him and grandma playing in his little car.

Belle

We have a new member of our family! She is a miniature horse and we love her. She is 1 1/2 years old and she is so sweet and easy. I have always been kind of intimidated by full sized horses so I searched and searched for a mini and found her in Laytonville. Landen loves Belle and love to feed and brush her. Pumpkin Patch

My mom, sister and I took Landen and met his cousins at the pumpkin patch on Sunday. He had a cold so wasn't completely himself, but he enjoyed it...We have always had a rule in this family that you can only get a pumpkin you can carry...So Landen found one and it's just his size:)...Now we just have to carve them...I'm dreading this just because it's so messy...I think we are going to have to do it in the garage:) Hope everyone has a good Halloween. I am exciting for the HOLIDAYS!!!!
