Pumpkin Patch

My mom, sister and I took Landen and met his cousins at the pumpkin patch on Sunday. He had a cold so wasn't completely himself, but he enjoyed it...We have always had a rule in this family that you can only get a pumpkin you can carry...So Landen found one and it's just his size:)...Now we just have to carve them...I'm dreading this just because it's so messy...I think we are going to have to do it in the garage:) Hope everyone has a good Halloween. I am exciting for the HOLIDAYS!!!!

Tired, but Good

So work is going well. I have been here 8-5 Mon, Tue and today. I am tired and miss Landen, but it has been good for me. My mom has brought him by during the day which is fun to see him. Yesterday, he was riding his new tractor and fell off pretty hard and his face is completely scratched up. His forehead, nose and one cheek...My mom said he was mad at his tractor for a while and my mom said they couldn't talk about his face for a while or it would make him sad:( Grandma has been wonderful watching him and they just play all day long. We got "Belle" the mini horse and I absolutely LOVE her! Landen likes her too...he brushes her and just walks around he like it's no big deal...he thinks she is just another dog we added to our 5 that are always around...I have lots of pictures of Belle and Landen, but I can't find my camera right now. I know I will find it...I always do this kind of stuff and then find it a few days later...
Here is a picture of Landen's new tractor. I will get a picture of his face too, cause it's a big one!

Work and (of course) Landen

I know I haven't been keeping my blog updated, but the computer at my house is broken so I can only get on at work and of course I just work the hours that I HAVE to be there, so I don't stay extra:) I am actually now going to be working more. Since Landen was born I have just been working 10-15 hours a week, but I have realized that isn't cutting it on my end of the bills...My mom loves being a grandma and has offered to be a grandma pretty much full time. I am going to go to Wes' (my father in law's) office and manage it about 4 days a week 8-5 and my mom is going to have Landen. I am so thankful that I wont have to pay for daycare (or send him to one) and she will be able to bring him in to visit since it is going to be an adjustment for me not seeing him all day. I think it will be Very good for me though because I will feel like I am accomplishing more. I am excited but also sad about leaving Landen...
About Landen...he is getting so grown up. He will be 2 in 4 months!! Where did the time go! He is talking more, understands everything, copying anything we do, and blossoming into a "little man". He went to his first dentist appointment and I was so nervous, but he sat on my lap in the chair and they got him used to everything they just counted his teeth, and checked them out. He did great! He opened for them and thought it was funny. He is really enjoyable and fun to be with. I am ready to have another one, but maybe start trying at the end of the year...
Hope everyone has a great week. This weekend we are getting a mini horse for Landen so we have to get a fence built...hopefully it doesn't rain. I will have to put up a picture of her. She is only 27" tall. About the size of my mom's German Shepard dog.

Our last two weekends

So our last two weekends have included going to Willow Creek with Janelle, Connor and Mikey and then over Labor Day we took my moms trailer and took Landen to the waterslides. It's sad to see summer almost over, but we were able to do a lot and enjoy the sun!
